SUP DAY FORUM KYIV 2026: Key event takeaways from giftmall
On 9 April 2026, the SUP DAY FORUM took place in Kyiv to mark the 10th anniversary of the Ukrainian Entrepreneurs’ Association (SUP). Our colleagues Angelina Ivanova, Chief Revenue Officer, and Anna Padun, Head of Business Development, attended the event and were inspired by the stories of Ukrainian entrepreneurs. Let’s take a look at some interesting insights from the event.
This event was a celebration for the entire Ukrainian business community. The 10th anniversary of SUP marks a history of perseverance and shared triumphs over adversity. All the guest speakers and attendees congratulated the founders and those present.
The event placed particular emphasis on the resilience of Ukrainian business. This concept lies at the heart of our identity today. We are all navigating turbulent times, but that is no reason to stand still. A true business grows steadily, regardless of external circumstances.
We discussed many of the challenges facing businesses today, such as where to find the resources and inspiration for people when safety is their top priority. But we also highlighted opportunities, such as the fact that the Western market is currently as open as ever to Ukrainian companies, and the importance of not missing this opportunity.
The participants identified three key pillars for business survival during wartime:
- culture;
- resilience;
- flexibility and the ability to adapt instantly.
The new user experience was also a key topic of discussion, namely the idea that a business’s role is not simply to copy its competitors but to create a user experience from scratch.
giftmall also took part in the event’s charity raffle organised by the “Children of Heroes” Fund. This is a social initiative supporting children who have lost their parents due to the war. We provided a prize in the form of a multibrand card, which the winner can redeem for any brands from the giftmall catalogue in Ukraine.
The event was a huge inspiration to our colleagues, as it was a true celebration of Ukrainian business, featuring stories of success and failure, honest conversations and friendly advice.
We are delighted to join in the congratulations and would like to thank the SUP community for its resilience and steadfast support of Ukrainian entrepreneurship. In times like these, it is particularly valuable to have a community that helps businesses survive, grow and move forward.
We are always delighted to take part in such events, fostering long-term relationships with our partners and clients whilst also contributing to Ukraine’s economy.
